The #1 and #2 seeded girls teams, Scammon Bay and King Cove gave way to the #3 and #4 seeds Davis Ramoth and Aniak as the Aniak Halfbreeds defeated the Selawik Wolves in the 1A Girls championship game on Saturday.

The Wolverines, following a first round loss to Selawik, rallied for three-straight victories at the 1A basketball championships concluding with a 36-18 victory over Kake on Saturday.
DeeAnn White lead the Wolverines with 20 points, her third 20+ game in the four tournament games for Ninilchik.
DeeAnn White was selected to the 1A Girls All-Tournament Team.

The Noatak Lynx dominated the field in the boys 1A division with an impressive tournament run through the 1A competition, capped by a 71-35 dismantling of the Nunamiut Wolves.
