The brackets for March Madness Alaska have been released in preparation for two weeks of high school basketball state tournament action, with games scheduled for the Alaska Airlines Center on the campus of UAA.

 

1A State Basketball

The 1A state tournament begins on Wednesday, March 16th with the Ninilchik Wolverine girls and boys and the Nikolaevsk Warrior girls and boys all in first round action on Wednesday.

The Ninilchik Boys are the #1 seed on the bracket; the Nikolaevsk boys are the #3 seed.  On the girls bracket, the Ninichik girls are the #3 seed.
