2014 Graduations Kick Off Next Week

Next week kicks off 2014 graduations across the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District.

 

We asked Pegge Erkeneff with the district if there were any differences with graduations this year.

Erkeneff: “But the difference is is that this is going to be the last Skyview High School graduation that’s going to be Tuesday night so that’s a big event and there’s some sadness around that, I’ve talked to some students this week but also some excitement for that graduating class.” 

 

Erkeneff gave us some graduate numbers also.

Erkeneff: “The district has between, we don’t have a final count but between about 535 and 542 students that will be graduating this year district wide.”
