Much to the dismay of those out hunting for the KSRM Easter Egg, it has been found.
Camilla Bundy and Christina Cramer were searching separately near the Snowshoe Gun Club but combined their efforts today.
Daniel Chapman was also a part of the winning parties…
Chapman: “When you pull down Shotgun Road on the left there’s the big Twin City Raceway double sign there, well directly across the road there’s like a fire hydrant or electrical box or something right there, it’s hard to remember what all was right there. But there was a square post with another square post on top of it with metal sheeting wrapped around it. And what we had to do was pry the metal thing back to separate the top of the post and it was glued down inside it.”
Bundy says for as long as she can remember the search for the KSRM Easter Egg has been an annual event in her family. This year the clue that clicked the most for her was the one that mentioned noise.
Bundy: “We said that has to be over by the race track.”
Cramer says she and her boys, Rex and Roland, enjoyed working with Camilla’s team to find the egg for the $2,000 prize today.
Cramer: “We’re going to split it in half and I’m going to take some of my friends out to eat and we’ll have some wine, the boys they each got $50 for helping me all day. Rexy here he ended up falling in the mud, he’s all muddy and they’re pretty tired, I made them look all day.”
The egg was found just after 2:00 pm Friday and the winning parties brought the entire post that had been planted into the station.
