Much to the dismay of those still hunting for the 2025 KSRM Easter Egg, it has been found!
Alex Stone returned the winning egg to the KSRM studios on Friday afternoon to claim his $2,000 prize.
Stone described where the egg was hidden;
“The egg was hidden at Cunningham park down Beaver loop under a staircase.” “I saw kind of like patch of grass underneath the staircase kind of covering up like a mound of dirt almost and I kind of you know pushed that piece of that patch of grass to the side and I looked in the mound of dirt and I saw the protruding case the pill case that was like covered up in a Gray duct tape and I grabbed it.”
Stone talked about searching for the egg across the peninsula;
“Well I was kind of trying to go through your clues and I was checking your posts I was checking under staircases and steps and I mean there’s a lot of clues that brought me to Cunningham park and obviously a lot of other people too and we felt like we all kind of scoured the place for a couple of hours and then everyone was kind of given up.”
The KSRM Easter Egg was hidden under a metal staircase at Cunningham Park on Beaver Loop in Kenai.
When asked if this was his first year, Stone said,
“I would say it’s around 10 years.”
When asked what he was going to do with their $2,000 prize, Stone said:
“I think we’re about to pay for a photo shoot. Yeah we just had a baby not too long ago.”
Congratulations to this year’s winner! Mark your calendars for the 2026 KSRM Easter Egg Hunt.
