The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported four new positive COVID-19 cases in their Thursday update. That makes the total positive case count in the state at 387. Three of the new cases are out of Anchorage, with the other out of Tok.
The number of active cases in the state is 38, up three from the Wednesday update. The active case-count has not been at 50 or higher since May 5.
The total number of recovered patients, as of Thursday’s update, stands at 339. No new deaths have been reported, with that total remaining at ten fatalities.
The total number of tests conducted in the state thus far is 31,762. This marks an increase of 1,113 since yesterday’s update.
These cases are reported using the state’s timetable of reporting counts: 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on May 13.
