4 New Positive COVID-19 Cases Reported

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. The total positive case count, including recovered patients, now stands at 345. Two cases are from Ahcnorage, one from Eagle River, and the other from Wasilla.

 

Of the new cases, three are male and one is female. Two are aged 20-29; one is aged 40-49; and one is aged 50-59.

 

These cases are reported using the state’s timetable of reporting counts: 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on April 26.

 

The total number of recovered patients, as of Monday’s update, stands at 218 out of the 345 total positive cases that have been reported.

 

One new hospitalization has been reported, bringing that total to 37. There were no new deaths reported, leaving that total at nine.

 

The total number of tests conducted in the state thus far is 16,256‬‬.
