4 New Positive COVID-19 Cases Reported

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. The total positive case count, including recovered patients, now stands at 355. Two are from Anchorage and two are from Eagle River.

 

Of the new cases, all four are male. Two are aged 20 – 29; one is aged 30 – 39; and one is aged 50 – 59.

 

These cases are reported using the state’s timetable of reporting counts: 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on April 28.

 

The total number of recovered patients, as of Wednesday’s update, stands at 240 out of the 355 total positive cases that have been reported. That marks 12 new recoveries.

 

No new hospitalizations have been reported, with the tally now being 36. There were no new deaths reported, leaving that total at nine.

 

The total number of tests conducted in the state thus far is 19,119‬‬‬‬.
