It’s a bird, it’s a plane…wait…it’s a plane dropping pumpkins! That’s right, it’s time for the 5th Annual Pumpkin Drop!
Kenai Aviation is hosting their pumpkin drop at Kenai Municipal Airport Operations Building. (515 N Willow St. Kenai, AK )
Watch local pilots, both commercial and private, along with our enthusiastic flight students, take to the skies to aim their pumpkins at the ground target.
And if dropping pumpkins makes your stomach grumble, then you’re in luck! The Chili and Cornbread cook-off is happening starting at 10:00 a.m. The cook-off contest is open to all! Find the sign-up link below.
There will be an awards ceremony after the pumpkin drop, which is at 11:00 a.m.
