6 New Positive COVID-19 Cases Reported

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported six new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. The total positive case count, including recovered patients, now stands at 351.  Three of the cases are from Anchorage, one from Petersburg, one from Chugiak, and one from North Pole.

 

Of Tuesday’s newly reported cases, five are male — two aged 30-39, one aged 40-49, and two aged 50-59 — and one is female, aged 20-29.

 

These cases are reported using the state’s timetable of reporting counts: 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on April 27.

 

The total number of recovered patients, as of Tuesday’s update, stands at 228 out of the 351 total positive cases that have been reported. That marks ten new recoveries.

 

No new hospitalizations have been reported, leaving that total at 37. There were no new deaths reported, leaving that total at nine.

 

The total number of tests conducted in the state thus far is 17,089‬‬‬.
