The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. The total positive case count in the state now stands at 300. Four cases originated in the Anchorage area, two in the Juneau Borough, and one from the Kodiak Island Borough.
These cases are reported using the state’s timetable of reporting counts: 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on April 15.
The total number of recovered patients, as of Thursday’s update, stands at 110 out of the 300 total positive cases that have been reported. That marks four new recoveries.
Three new hospitalizations have been reported, upping the state cumulative total to 35. No new deaths were reported, keeping that total at nine.
