The two-day Homer Mariner Invitational Nordic Ski Meet turned into a freestyle sprint; as the meet evolved into a one-day, 5-kilometer freestyle event.
In the girls varsity 5K Freestyle, Kenai’s Addison Gibson posted the fastest time completing the course in 16 miniutes, 36 seconds; followed by Kenai’s Riana Boonstra and SoHi’s Hannah Potash.
In the boys varsity 5K Freeestyle, SoHi’s Levi Michael topped the field with a time of 13 minutes and 53 seconds; followed by SoHi’s John-Mark Potash and SoHi’s Koby Vinson.
