North Star Conference hockey, following the holiday break, returns to the ice with the Solodtna Stars traveling to the Kevin Bell Arena n Homer to face the Homer Mariners on Tuesday, January 5th. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The Stars and Mariners resume conference play with less than a month remaining in the regular season for high school hockey. When last on the ice, the Mariners fell to Kenai 6-5, as the Kardinals rallied from a three-goal deficit. The Stars last conference contest was a 10-1 dismantling of the Kenai Kardinals.
SoHi will play a pair of non-conference games against Dimond and West on Friday and Saturday. SoHi and Kenai travel to the Valley for the NSC showdown with Colony, Wasilla and Palmer on January 14-16.
