The National Tsunami Warning Center issued a statement saying there is no tsunami warning following a 4.4 magnitude earthquake that registered approximately 60 miles west of Homer at 8:30 pm.
Residents in the central Kenai Peninsula have not reported feeling the quake.
The quake was recorded at 76 miles deep on the west side of the Cook Inlet.
