Some of the Kenai Peninsula Borough’s School District’s bus riding students will be released approximately 30 minutes early this afternoon because of deteriorating road conditions on routes.
Spokeswoman Pegge Erkeneff with the District detailed the changes in an email:
►REDOUBT ELEMENTARY: General Education bus route #38 serving Funny River Road, Brown’s Lake, and Rabbit Run.
►STERLING ELEMENTARY: All general education bus routes: #9, #10, #11, and #12. Special education buses will run on a normal schedule today.
►TUSTUMENA ELEMENTARY: All general education bus routes: #41, #42, #43, and #44. Special education buses will run on a normal schedule today.
