An accident on Redoubt Avenue in Kenai this afternoon was minor, resulting in no injuries.

Lt. Ross: “At approximately 3:40 pm the Kenai Police Department and Kenai Fire Department responded to a vehicle collision on Skylar Drive near Redoubt Avenue. The driver of a Nissan SUV reported seeing a dog near the roadway and slammed on their breaks, their vehicle was rear-ended by a Pontiac passenger car. One lane was temporarily closed for the collision but none of the parties involved were transported to the hospital.”
He says the dog that was spotted was not hit.
