The Soldotna Stars football cheer squad competed against teams from throughout Alaska at the 2016 Alaska Spirit Coaches Association Cheer and Dance Competition held at Bartlett High School.
The SoHi girls placed first overall in the Small Varsity Team division and earned a second place in the 5-Person Stunt Team division.
SoHi’s Seryn Tyler Sproul placed 4th overall in the individual cheerleader competition and earned a $250 scholarship.
