The National Park Service says poor weather Monday again hampered efforts to find an Anchorage pilot missing in Lake Clark National Park and Preserve.
The agency says 55-year-old David McRae left Anchorage Friday for Lake Clark.
Authorities have not been able to contact him and are trying to reach a location where an emergency locator transmitter beacon was activated.
The National Park Service says the ELT signal is coming from the 5,000-foot level of mountains between Merrill Pass and Telaquana Lake.
The Alaska Air National Guard has been searching by helicopter but has been unable to reach the area.
