GCI is posting some positive financial results for this quarter, but the numbers are still lower than one year ago.
The telecommunications company reported $8 million during the most recent period between May to September. That’s a $3 million increase from this year’s second quarter but still lower than last year’s $10 million quarter during the same period.
GCI’s wireless revenue was down 35 percent year-over-year, showing just $52 million compared to last year’s $70 million.
The company is preparing to implement a simplified billing system which they anticipate will reduce its costs by $5 million annually.
