While only six options are already written for President and Vice Presidential candidates on Alaska’s ballot, there are quite a few potential write-in candidates registered with the Division of Elections.
A write-in vote for any candidate will only count if the name of the person written is spelled correctly and they are registered with the State of Alaska as a viable option.
There are 46 candidates for U.S. President and Vice President registered with Alaska’s Division of Elections, although eight of them did not complete their letter of intent.
Two of the 46 for the Presidential ticket listed Alaskan addresses.
There are also a handful of write-in candidates for the U.S. Congress and Senate seats running against the current incumbents.
