Police in Washington have taken two suspects into custody who are accused of assaulting a star of the reality TV series “Deadliest Catch”.
30-year-old Amanda Ritter and 29-year-old Jorel Fultz were arrested and taken to the Spokane County Jail Tuesday on suspicion of robbing Jake Harris.
Jake’s brother Josh took to Facebook Sunday, telling fans of the show his brother had been beaten.
Josh Harris: “Some individuals beat him to the point where they cracked his skull from his forehead all the way back to where you’d be balding as an individual.”
The Everett Police Department says on Saturday it was reported that a male victim of assault was found alongside the road by a driver.
Jake Harris reportedly told police that he and three other people had been coming back from a casino when a man sitting in the back seat began to beat him.
He reported his wallet and $2,400 was missing after the assault.
Jake and Josh Harris, along with their family, have been featured on Discovery’s Deadliest Catch show about fishermen in Alaska for years.
Everett is a town about 30 miles north of Seattle.
