The Soldotna Stars hosted the Hutchison Hawks in a pair of non-conference games at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex.
SoHi 2 – Hutchison 0 Friday
The Soldotna Stars held Hutchison scoreless in Friday’s contest for a 2-0 SoHi
victory. SoHi scored a first period goal by Wyatt Medcoff and a second period, unassisted goal by Galen Brantley III.
SoHi 6 – Hutchison 1 Thursday
The Soldotna Stars scored three goals in the first period and held Hutchison to a lone, third period goal in SoHi’s 6-1 victory over the Hawks.
SoHi opened the scoring with a Galen Brantley III goal followed by a pair of goals by Ethan Brown. Brown finished with a three-goal, hat trick; Brantley added two goals and Matthew Dougherty scored a goal. Kenzie Powell turned away 11 of 12 shots in goal for SoHi.
