The Ninilchik Wolverine boys, winner’s of the 2016 1A basketball state championship with a victory over Nikolaevsk, faced the Warriors for the first time in 2017 and dominated Nikolaevsk 98-46. Ninilchik’s Tyler Presley lead all scorers with 30 points.
Ninilchik girls 41, Nikolaevsk 30
The Wolverines girls defeated the Nikolaevsk girls 41-30 for a Peninsula Conference victory Tuesday. DeeAnn White lead the Wolverines with 15 points. Vera Fefelov scored 13 points for Nikolaevsk.
