The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Snow in effect from 9 pm Tuesday evening to 9 am Wednesday morning for the Western Kenai Peninsula including the cities of Kenai, Soldotna, Homer and Cooper Landing.
* SNOW…5 to 9 inches south of Clam Gulch and 3 to 5 inches elsewhere.
* VISIBILITY…One-half mile or less at times.
* TIMING…Light snow will develop from south to north this evening then become heavy at times overnight. The heaviest snow will fall along Kachemak Bay northward to Ninilchik. Snow will diminish during the mid to late morning hours on Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Travel may be difficult. Visibilities will be limited in heavy snowfall.
