Lead by four individual victories and two relays victories, the Soldotna boys track team captured the Colony Invitational Track and Field boys team title. The Kenai girls finished as runner-up in the girls team scoring.

In the boys competition, the Stars earned four individual first place finishes including:

Kenai’s Josh Jackman posted the fastest sprint times of the season with new state-best times in both the 100M, in 11.19, and the 200M, in 22.66; good for a pair of victories at the Colony Invitational. Jackman also finished second in both the long jump and triple jump events.
Other top three performances included Brenner Furlong with a second in the 200M; Issac Averill, from Nikiski, finished second in the 100M and third in the 200M; Tuisaula, second in Discus; Jarrett Wilson, from Kenai, second in both the 110M Hurdles and the 300M Hurdles; Logan Schrader, from SoHi, third in the Long Jump.

In the girls competition, indidivdual first-place finishes were recorded by:
Kenai’s Julieanne Wilson jumped 15′ 10″ in the Long Jump
Kenai’s Abby Beck won the girls Discus with a toss of 119′ 8″
SoHi’s Itua Tuisaula finished first in the Shot Put with a throw of 35′ 8″
