Kenai & SoHi Advance All Teams Through First Round @ NLC Soccer Championships

Author: Coach Dan Gensel |

The Northern Lights Conference soccer championships put a high premium on winning on the first day of the three-day tournament; an opening round loss and a team is eliminated from an opportunity to advance to the state tournament and eliminated from the tournament.

No problem for five of the six peninsula teams at the 2017 Northern Lights Conference Soccer Tournament; five victories recorded on Thursday at the NLC tournament being held at Colony and Palmer High Schools.  Only one lower-seeded team recorded a victory; that team was the Kenai boys.
