Following a day of pool play on Thursday, The Soldotna Stars and Homer Mariners advanced to the double-elimination bracket play on Friday at the ASAA Small Schools State Softball Championship.
Both teams were eliminated on Friday; the Stars recording one victory and a pair of losses, Homer dropped both games on Friday.
