Brown Bears Face Magicians In Three-Game Series

The Kenai River Brown Bears return to action at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex for a three-game series against the Minnesota Magicians beginning on Thursday, October 26th.

Thursday game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday games set for 7:30 p.m.

 

The Kenai River Brown Bears split a pair of hockey contests with the Shreveport Mudbugs in North American Hockey League action at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex.

Friday’s Brown Bears home opener went to Shreveport 6-2, Kenai River surrendering three, unanswered goals in the third period.

On Saturday, the Brown Bears downed the Mudbugs 5-4 in a shootout, with Emils Ezitis scoring the only goal in the overtime shootout.

 

The Kenai River Brown Bears currently stand in fifth place in the six-team Midwest Division of the North American Hockey League with a 5-7 overall record.
