No rest for the weary; on the road again for both Kenai and SoHi hockey.
The Kenai Kardinals open play at the Big Lake Lions Christmas Classic on Thursday with a first-round pairing against the Palmer Moose, game time scheduled for 11:00 a.m. for the tournament’s first contest. The Kardinals will continue play in the bracketed-format on Friday and Saturday in Big Lake.
Kenai, by the end of the weekend, will have played six games in a 10-day period which began on November 30th.
The Soldotna Stars are in Fairbanks for three, non-conference contests against Fairbanks opponents. The Stars open Thursday night against North Pole at the Polar Ice Rink. Game time scheduled for 6:45 p.m. SoHi will play West Valley on Friday, a 6:45 p.m. start at the Patty Center; then close the Fairbanks swing with a 10:45 a.m. game against Lathrop on Saturday at the Patty Center.
SoHi, by the end of the weekend, will have played seven games in a 10-day period which began on November 30th.
