Nordic skiing for high school teams on the peninsula enters the final regular season weekend before the Big 3 championship events of the cross country ski season.
The Homer Invitational Nordic Ski Race, two days of competition on the trails at Lookout Mountain in Homer, features classic and freestyle relay racing with all Region III ski programs invited to participate.

Upcoming Nordic Ski Schedule
The 2018 Kenai Peninsula Borough Cross Country Ski Meet is scheduled for Saturday, February 10th hosted by Seward High School. The Region III Nordic Ski Championships are set for Friday and Saturday, February 16-17 hosted by Kenai Central High School. The ASAA State Nordic Ski Championsips close the ski season with the championships scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, February 22-24, hosted in Fairbanks.
