Kenai Boys Remain Unbeaten In Peninsula Conference Soccer

A mid-week trip to Seward for the Kenai Kardinal soccer teams produces a pair of victories and continues an unbeaten streak in Peninsula Conference soccer.

 

Kenai Boys 4 – Seward 0

The Kardinal boys continue to roll through conference opponents with a 4-0 win over Seward on Thursday.  Travis Verkuilen scored a pair of goals and Leif Lofquist and Titus Riddall each scored a single goal for Kenai.  Braedon Pitsch recorded the shutout in goal for the Kardinal boys.

Kenai improves to 12-1-1 overall, without a loss in Peninsula Conference action.

 

Kenai Girls 5 – Seward 1

A three-goal, hat trick for Oliva Brewer led the Kardinal girls to a 5-1 Peninsula Conference victory in Seward.  Brewer scored twice in the first half for a 2-0 Kardinal lead at the half. Abby Every and Liz Hanson added second half goals, and Brewer finished the scoring with her third goal in the closing minutes.  Kenai improves to 4-3-1 in the Peninsula Conference.
