Around 10:00 pm Saturday, October 13, agencies responded to a small car on fire at the corner of the Kenai Spur Highway and Beaver Loop Road and the intersection was temporarily shut down.
A witness who was initially on scene said the car appeared empty and Kenai Police confirmed there was no one in the vehicle when first responders arrived.
As of 10:30 pm the Kenai Spur Highway had one lane reopened but agencies were waiting on a wrecker to take the car away.
