Fresh snow and groomed trails provided for both classic and freestyle skiing at the Homer Invitational held at Lookout Mountain in Homer on Friday and Saturday.
The Soldotna boys and the Homer girls topped the team scoring on both days.
The SoHi boys were lead by Jack Harris with victories in both disciplines. Harris posted a time of 12:55 in the classic and 16:08 in the freestyle. Foster Boze, of SoHi, finished second in the classic race; SoHi’s Joe Danmeyer placed second in the freestyle.
The Homer girls were lead by Autumn Daigle, who also won both individual events. Kenai’s Maria Salzetti placed second in both the classic and freestyle.
