Oilers Close Road Trip With 12-2 Loss To Anchorage Bucs

It is hard enough to win on the road in the Alaska Baseball League for the Peninsula Oilers, even harder when allowing 12 hits, two hit batters and seven free passes to the ABL leading Anchorage Bucs.

The Oilers fell to the Bucs 12-2 on Tuesday at Mulcahy Park to close-out an eight-game road swing through the Alaska Baseball League.

Bucs 12 – Oilers 2

The Peninsula Oilers opened with two, first-inning runs scoring Camden Vasquez and Ethan Patrick on a two RBI single by Jaden Fein.  The Bucs responded with three runs on two hits coming after two outs in the bottom of the first.  From there, the Oilers offense stalled and the Bucs offense flourished.  Final Score: Bucs 12, Oilers 2.
