Twins Open Final Weekend Of Regular Season With Shot At American Division Title

The Post 20 Twins, on the strength of five-straight victories and a back-loaded scheduled with four league games remaining in the final three days of the regular season, have clinched a state tournament berth and now push to a possible American Division title.

 

Post 20 faces Service on Friday at the K3 Field in Anchorage to open the weekend series.

 

The Twins passed Palmer in the divisional standings on Tuesday; Kenai owns 47 points, Dimond 40 and Palmer stands in third place with 45 points.  South currently holds the top spot with 52 points.  The top three teams in the American and National Division’s automatically advance to the state tournament along with the next two, top point earners.
