After posting a 2-0 record in Friday’s pool play, the Soldotna volleyball team defeated Kenai on Saturday in the championship game of the 2019 Shayna Pritchard Tournament at Nikiski High School.
The Stars knock-off Kenai 25-17 and 25-23 in the championship final. Mt. Edgecumbe defeat Nikiski in the third-place; Bethel defeated Grace Christian in the fifth-place game.
All Tournament Team selections included:
MVP SoHi’s Itu Tuisaula, SoHi’s Holleigh Jaime, Kenai’s Bethany Morris, Abby Every and Bayleigh Skorupa, and Nikiski’s Kaitlyn Johnson, Kaycee Bostic and America Jeffreys.
