The best teams in Alaska high school volleyball open two-days of competition at the 2019 Dimond/Service Volleyball Tournament with pool play scheduled for Friday and bracketed play on Saturday which will determine champions in the Gold (top), Silver and Bronze brackets.
Teams scheduled to compete, 4A: Soldotna, Dimond, West, Service, East, Lathrop, West Valley, North Pole, Juneau, Wasilla, Palmer, Kodiak, Eagle River, Thunder Mountain

Pool Play & Bracket Play Guidelines
Varsity teams will be playing at Dimond or Service High School.
Friday’s Varsity pool play matches shall be two games to 25 points (no point cap, win by 2).
After completion of pool play, the finish of each team in their own pool will designate the bracket they will play in on Saturday.
Varsity – 1st and 2nd place teams of each pool shall advance into the Gold Bracket to be played at Dimond.
3rd and 4th place teams shall advance to the Silver Bracket to be played at Service.
5th place team shall advance to the Bronze Bracket to be played at Service.
All matches shall be 2 of 3 games to 25 points (no point cap, win by 2), game 3 to 15 points (no point cap, win by 2). The Gold Bracket “If Game” match is 1 game to 30 points (no point cap, win by 2).
Gold Bracket championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m.
