The holidays are filled with travel to relatives and friends to share in Christmas and New Years celebrations.
For Soldotna High School basketball, the holiday season includes road trips for basketball tournaments including the Capital City Basketball Tournament in Juneau for the SoHi boys and the So-Cal Holiday Prep Classic in San Diego for the Soldotna Lady Stars.
SoHi Girls @ San Diego
The Soldotna Stars girls open play at the So-Cal Holiday Prep Classic on Thursday, December 26th at Santana High School, a 5:00 p.m. game against Gladstone, Oregon.
The SoHi girls continue play on Friday with a game against Valhalla, California at 8:00 p.m. at Valhalla High School. SoHi continues the four-game tournament with a Saturday, December 28th contest against Patrick Henry High, California at 6:30 p.m. at Valhalla High School. Tournament play closes on Monday, December 30th with a game against West Hills, California at 9:30 a.m. at West Hills High School.
Soldotna Boys @ Juneau
The SoHi boys begin play in the Capital City Basketball Tournament on Friday and are scheduled for three games (Friday, Saturday and Monday) in the round-robin format tournament.
SoHi opens against North Pole in the 3 p.m. game on Friday, December 27th at Juneau High School. The Stars face Haines on Saturday at 3 p.m. and close the tournament against host Juneau on Monday at 7 p.m. All three games will be broadcast on ESPN 1140AM and streamed live at www.radiokenai.com
