After enduring temperatures which forced indoor training and limited ski time on the trails for most of the holiday break, the Soldotna nordic ski team impressed at the Government Peak Invitational Nordic Ski Meet held in Palmer.
The Soldotna Boys, lead by a first place performance by Bradley Walters in the 5K skate event on Saturday, raced to the boys overall team title with a combined time of 1:42:27, a mere :17 seconds ahead of Colony. The Soldotna girls finished second in the team scoring, 3:04 behind Palmer.
