The Kenai River Brown Bears Junior A hockey team returns to the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex looking for their first victory of 2020.
Kenai River hosts Maine Nordiques on Friday and Saturday at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex. Game times scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The Brown Bears currently stand in second place in the Midwest Division of the North American Hockey League following four-straight road losses to open 2020. The Brown Bears held-down first place in December before dropping six of nine games on Kenai River’s resent road trip.
The Brown Bears fell 6-2 to the New Mexico Ice Wolves Friday, January 10th with goals from Logan Ritchie and Zach Krajnik. Saturday, Kenai River lost 6-5 to the Ice Wolves allowing four, third period goals.
