Soldotna and Nikiski battled in non-divisional basketball games on Tuesday at Soldotna High School, the only regular season pairings between the Stars and Bulldogs in the 2019-2020 basketball season.
SoHi Girls 55 – Nikiski 22
On the strength of a 26 point, second quarter the Soldotna girls cruised to a 55-22 victory over Nikiski in a non-divisional, non-conference basketball contest. Itu Tuisaula lead SoHi with 16 points and Morgan Bouschor added 13 points.
SoHi Boys 77 – Nikiski 26
The SoHi boys opened with a 21-point first quarter and scored 28 points in the third quarter en route to a 77-26 non-divisional victory over Nikiski. Ray Chumley scored 20 points for SoHi and Jersey Truesdell added 15 points. Caleb Payne and Austin Stafford each scored seven points for Nikiski.
