The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. The total positive case count, including recovered patients, now stands at 339. Both cases are from from the Anchorage area.
These cases are reported using the state’s timetable of reporting counts: 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on April 23.
The total number of recovered patients, as of Friday’s update, stands at 208 out of the 339 total positive cases that have been reported.
No new hospitalizations have been reported, leaving that total at 36. There were also no new deaths reported, leaving that total at nine.
The total number of tests conducted in the state thus far is 11,942.
