The 2020 Salmon Run Series race #2 enjoyed blue skies and mid-70’s temperatures on a perfect night for a fun run through the K-Beach area.
The route for Salmon Series Race #2 utilized trails from the start/finish at Soldotna Regional Sports Complex down K-Beach road to Endicott, to Chugach, to Brooks Ave. back to Endicott, and back to the SRSC.
The top time for the open 5-K event was recorded by Jason Parks at 16:06.4. Incoming senior at SoHi Erika Arthur turned-in the fastest women’s time at 20:47.38. Forty-eight runners posted times in the 5K event.
Salmon Series Race #3 will begin and end at the Kenai Peninsula College, scheduled for Wednesday, July 22nd.
