The Alaska 20 Twins close-out their regular season on Friday with a pair of non-league games against the South/Open team from Anchorage.
The Friday doubleheader is scheduled for the SoHi Field at the Soldotna Little League complex with a 12:30 p.m. start for game one.
The Twins stand at 5-5 and 25 points in the American Division of the ABL and are the only team to complete all ten league games. Currently the Twins are in third in the American Division and are in-line for an at-large berth to state. The remainder of the ABL completes the regular season with games through Sunday afternoon. League records and accumulated points will determine the eight qualifiers to the Alliance of Alaska Baseball state tournament; which begins July 24th at Mulcahy Park in Anchorage.
ABL All-Star Game Information & Team Selection
The 2020 Alliance League All-Star Teams will play a collective team of former Legion Legends with the ABL All-Star Game’s scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, July 21st and 22nd at Anchorage’s Mulcahy Stadium. The National Division plays Tuesday and the American Division plays Wednesday.
Game times are set for 6;30 p.m. both nights at Mulcahy Stadium.
Twins Selected To American Division All-Star Team
The Twins earned three selections to the American Division All-Star Team. Sam Berry will represent the Twins on the American pitching staff. Mose Hayes and Tanner Ussing were selected to the infield for the American All-Stars.
