State Troopers Respond To Fight Involving Assault With Golf Club

The Alaska State Troopers out of Soldotna responded to a report of a fight in-progress between two males featuring the use of a golf club. The Troopers’ K-9 team responded to the scene on Saturday night at 11:29 p.m.

 

The fight was reported to be occurring in the driveway of an address on Welcome Wind near K-Beach Road in Kenai. Upon the arrival of the troopers, investigation revealed a physical altercation occurred between two intoxicated males later identified as 31 year-old of Soldotna and his 20 year-old employee of Palmer.

 

Several witnesses were interviewed. It was reported by Trooper Dispatch that during the altercation, the employee, Corey Dahlberg, was caught stealing beer from the set-net site where the two were located. He then allegedly took a swing at his employer, Brian Koski, who reportedly retaliated and struck Dahlberg twice with a golf club.

 

Koski was arrested and transported to Wildwood Pretrial where he was remanded on one count of Third Degree Assault and held without bail.
