Kenai Police officers responded to a local apartment complex located near Forest Drive for a report of a wanted subject on Wednesday evening at 6:56 p.m. An officer contacted the wanted subject, and as a result, Jaycee Hermann was arrested for his Soldotna Trooper warrant following a Tuesday morning incident.
State Troopers in Soldotna received a report of a robbery from a convenience store early Tuesday morning at 12:32 a.m. The complainant then said that he was able to recover the safe that was stolen.
Trooper Dispatch reports that Hermann, age 20 of Kenai, is the one they believe stole the safe. He left in a black Ford Focus as the passenger, with Jessica Segura, age 21 of Soldotna, as the driver.
Troopers made contact with Segura on a traffic stop at mile 92 of the Sterling Highway. She was arrested, transported, and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial with no bail for Second Degree Robbery, no motor vehicle insurance, and a warrant.
