Football returned to the turf at Kenai Central High School for four football programs from the central and south peninsula with the Kenai Jamboree opening the 2020 football season under blue skies and cheering crowds.

Kenai, Nikiski, SoHi and Homer varsity football teams matched-up in a round-robin, controlled scrimmage format.

KCHS hosted the jamboree under current ASAA and KPBSD mandates and protocols with teams, coaches, officials (anyone inside of the fence) completing surveys and temperature checks.  Fans were required to wear masks upon entering the stands and were encouraged to social distance in the stands.

Coaches also wore masks on the field.

Teams lined up for 10 play series against opponents.

Players worked on team and individual assignments.
