The Nikiski Bulldogs look for their first victory on Friday when they host Seward in a divisional pairing at Nikiski High School. Game time scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Mitigation measures will be in effect.
Nikiski, 0-1, fell to Homer 50-7 last week with the offense scoring on its first possession then struggling to maintain a sustained drive. Seward dropped a 48-6 decision to Homer in week one.

The Division II Kenai Kardinals (0-1) face Division III Homer in Homer on Saturday in a match-up between two teams looking for victories following losses to the Division II Soldotna Stars.
Game time scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Mitigation measures will be in effect.
Homer stands at 2-1 on the season with wins over Seward and Nikiski: Homer downed Nikiski 50-7 last week behind quarterback Carter Tennison four passing touchdowns and a pair of rushing touchdowns. Kenai will attempt to get its running game on track; the Kardinals scored two rushing touchdowns against SoHi.
