The Mariner football program, having completed the regular season with a Homecoming game on Saturday, October 3rd against the Soldotna Stars, have earned a Division III playoff berth and have earned a first-round bye which places the Mariners next football game on October 17th–the final day of the scheduled quarantine.  The Alaska Schools Activities Association (ASAA) has been notified and is working in conjunction with Homer High School on the future of the Division III football playoffs, as it pertains to the Mariners.

Homer High School and the KPBSD instituted contact tracing measures and completed personal phone calls as part of the contact tracing.  Homer’s game mitigation plan has aided in the identification and notification of possible exposures.
