A five-game match decided with a Kenai Kardinal game five 15-7 victory over the Soldotna Stars on Friday at KCHS, extended the Kenai volleyball team’s undefeated streak through the 2020 regular season.
The Soldotna Stars won game one 25-23 and Kenai took game two 25-18. Kenai followed with a game three 25-17 win; which SoHi answered with a 27-25 game four. The Kardinals closed the match with a 15-7 win in game five.
Soldotna and Kenai volleyball schedules will again be subject to change with the Mat-Su extending the ban on out-of-district travel for extra-curricular activities. Kenai and SoHi were scheduled to host Colony and Wasilla in mid-October.
